George Lucas: 'I'm Retiring'

At the age of 67, George Lucas, the legendary filmmaker behind the iconic Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises says he's ready to call it quits with Hollywood movie making. In a recent interview with the New York Times, Lucas expressed his distaste for the business of producing modern pictures, telling the newspaper that Red Tails (opening Jan. 20) will be his final big-budget film, unless he has the opportunity to continue the Indiana Jones franchise.
