Beer is the world's oldest and most widely consumed alcoholic beverage and the third most popular drink overall after water and tea. It is produced by the brewing and fermentation of starches, mainly derived from cereal grains—most commonly malted barley, although wheat, maize, and rice are widely used. Most beer is flavoured with hops, which add bitterness and act as a natural preservative, though other flavourings such as herbs or fruit may occasionally be included.

  • Guinness Beer Bread
    Beer bread- so simple, so quick, so tasty! The only downside is that you have to sacrifice one beer, but after the smell of the bread baking fills your house you realize it was well worth it.Sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder into a large mixing bowl. Add beer to dry ingredients and mix.Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.Drizzle butter over batter.Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

    Preheat oven to 400 degreesREMOVE any insides from the chickenRINSE the chicken with cold water pat dry.RUB the chicken, inside and out with spices.Open the beer and drink half of it the punch extra holes on the can.Add 2 tbsp of spices inside the beer can.PLACE beer can on oven proof pan or dish this allows the chicken to cook indirectly and cathes the juices if you want to make a gravy. ARRANGE chicken on beer can, allow the two legs to form two sides of tripod so the chicken is stable.REDUCE oven to 350 degrees after first 30 mins. Best when chicken cooks for about 11/2 - 2 hoursWhen chicken is ready carefully remove to a separate platter. Allow to stand for 10  mins.

    Pre-heat oven to 450. Coat chicken with oil, dry spices, and chili sauce. Cut onion and place pieces under the skin. Open can of beer, take a sip :) , place can half-way into the chicken.
