    A respiratory infection that sent Elton John to the hospital forced the 65-year-old musician to cancel four Las Vegas concerts. The "Rocket Man" singer checked into Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Wednesday morning and doctors advised seven days of rest with no concert performances, Las Vegas' KLAS-TV reported.

Originally established as Kaspare Cohn Hospital in 1902, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is a non-profit, tertiary 958-bed hospital and multi-specialty academic health science centre located in the Fairfax District of Mid-City West, Los Angeles, California, United States.
