Historic Low Tides From Super Moon Brings Out Clammers
cnn.com 2 weeks, 4 days agoWherever you see sand at this Humboldt County Beach in California it is usually deep underwater at low tide. But thanks to the super moon, and the historic low tide, people flocked to take advantage of the bounty. And flock they did--about 200 of them digging with shovels, their hands, and even the family dog. Due to weather conditions, I could not photograph the super moonset but decided since I was already up at 5:30 a.m., I would photograph the clammers at Clam Beach, California. I had to walk about 3/4
