Cane-Wielding George Clooney Pokes Fun At Brad Pitt

The “Up in the Air” actor took the stage at Sunday’s awards show, holding a cane by his side and making a joke at the expense of his “Fight Club” friend, who has been in need of the assistance since injuring his knee on a ski slope. Before introducing Pitt’s film, “Moneyball,” Clooney held up the cane and said, “I have to give it back to him. He can’t make it to the bar otherwise.”
