She gained fame in Christopher Guest's improv mockumentary pictures such as Best in Show and is currently known for playing the role of Sue Sylvester in the television series Glee for which she has won both an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. and recurring role in the hit television series Two and a Half Men. She has also had notable roles in numerous mainstream comedies, such as Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Role Models.
