James Patrick "Jim" Edmonds is a left-handed Major League Baseball center fielder who is currently in the Milwaukee Brewers organization. He played for the California/Anaheim Angels, the St. Louis Cardinals, the San Diego Padres, and the Chicago Cubs. He was affectionately known by Cardinal fans as "Jimmy Baseball," "Jimmy Ballgame," "Lassie," and "Hollywood." ESPN's Rob Neyer lists Edmonds as #12 of the top 100 players of the 2000s decade due to his productivity at the plate and gold-glove skills in center field.
