Upgrading your Kindle Fire to version 6.2.2 will bring a handful of small performance tweaks, bugs fixes and, most notably, add a full-screen mode to the device's Silk browser. Kindle Fire Software Version 6.2.2 Now Rolling Out
gadgetell.com 3 weeks agoAmazon rolled-out software version 6.2.1 for the Kindle Fire back in December, and well, it looks like the next software update has begun showing up. This latest will arrive as 6.2.2, which that alone offers the suggestion of this being nothing more than a minor update. So far we have yet to see a full changelog from Amazon regarding this update, however users reports are pointing to a new button as having been added.
