Built by Robert Small and Tihan Presbie on a budget of £40,000. As of 2008, the company has been valued at over £200 million, having been profitable for six of its seven years, with turnovers exceeding £20 million in the past two years. The site has popular browser-based games, such as RuneScape and Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates. Club penguin was listed as number one in the top ten list for several years, before another multiplayer game was created, 'Spineworld' took the top spot.
