John Mayer Debuts #1 On Billboard 200!

The new record has sold about 219,000 copies in its first week! His last two albums sold 289,000 and 317,000 in their first week, respectively! Still, 219k is NOT bad considering he has a throat condition called granuloma. That means he's been unable to sing and wasn't able to do a lot of promotional activities for the album.
