Bice Staff Leaves Restaurant Short-handed
suntimes.com 3 weeks, 6 days agoAn Italian restaurant on the Near North Side has been hit with a walkout by its kitchen staff. Bice at 10 E. Delaware was operating at a reduced level late Wednesday, said its assistant general manager, Ovi Marginean. He declined to comment on the labor issue, but sources said staffers walked out because they hadn’t been paid for some time. Bice is part of a global chain owned by Roberto Ruggeri and son Raffaeli. He recreated the album cover for Funkadelic classic, Maggot Brain (okay, that's a Photoshop I did). Speaking of forays into hip hop culture, he also did provide a guest rap and appear in the video for Sasha Belyi's "Champion".
