The Big Picture: Paramount Is On Alert With 'G.I. Joe' Delay
miamiherald.com 19 hours, 36 minutes agoHollywood was all aflutter late last week over the news that Paramount had done the unthinkable - it had delayed the release of its big summer film "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" just five weeks before it was due to reach theaters. The studio said it was pushing the release back to next March so the film could be converted to 3-D.

Director Sues Paramount And Universal After Both Deny Knowing Who Holds The Rights To His Film

However, right now he's in a bit of a legal dispute with both Paramount and Universal studios , who co-produced the film that came after both of those films, called Sorcerer .
