Denying An Organ To A ‘Mentally Retarded’ Child
washingtonpost.com 3 weeks, 6 days agoA 3-year-old child, her fierce parents and a group of doctors are introducing many of us to one of the most disturbing debates within medical ethics. The child is Amelia Rivera. She has a rare chromosomal disorder called Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, which causes severe developmental delays.
