Rielle Hunter is an American actress and film producer. She is known as the basis of the character Alison Poole in Generation X literature, an early victim of the horse insurance fraud scandal, as an early adopter of YouTube as a means of distributing political viral marketing, and for having had an affair with Democratic Party presidential candidate John Edwards.
