boston.com 3 weeks, 6 days agoStudies in charity Foundation for MetroWest runs five programs that teach teenagers the basics of philanthropy, from how to read an Internal Revenue Service 990 form to how to build consensus for the final vote. In the past five years, about 400 students have awarded more than $250,000 in grants to local nonprofits. Philanthropy is no longer solely the domain of adults.
